Here and nowhere else. Our team approach is centered around your experience and convenience. When you are diagnosed here or choose us for treatment, you are provided with a team of experts who meet with you every Thursday evening. Team meetings last approximately one hour.

Our team is led by West Michigan's only fellowship-trained breast surgeons. Dr. Jamie Caughran and Dr. Jessica Keto. Both surgeons have brought their knowledge and expertise to Saint Mary’s.

Our program is the only breast program in the state of Michigan with three national Breast Center accreditations, which shows our dedication to quality breast care.

What is a Multidisciplinary Team?

A multidisciplinary team is composed of members from different healthcare professions with specialized skills and expertise. The members come together and coordinate and communicate with each other to provide the highest quality patient care.

A multidisciplinary breast cancer care team includes: medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, nurses, nutritionists, counselors, nurse navigators, and other cancer specialists. With the complexity of cancer care, these specialized healthcare professionals help to provide a continuum of care through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
